The Thunder Mountain High School Robotics teams would like to thank all of their sponsors for the 2015-16 season. Our five teams traveled to Sitka High School for regionals where two of our teams, Bro-bots + 1 and Genetic Advantage, won the tournament, advancing on to the state competition. Additionally, a third team, Team Duct Tape, also earned a spot at the state tournament.
With no support for travel from the school district, local businesses and community members stepped up to help supplement our student fundraisers. Thank you Donna’s Restaurant, Hecla Mining (Greens Creek), Conoco Philips, Couer Alaska (Kensington Mine), Integrity Home Inspection, Meridian Systems, Chad Erickson (State Farm), the Wallace Family and the Young Family. We value our community partnerships to enhance the education of Juneau students.
