Spring-flowering bulbs are now available for purchase from the Juneau-Gastineau Rotarians.
These bulbs, including daffodils, hyacinths, crocus and tulips, are selected by Master Gardeners to thrive in the Juneau climate. Plant them in the fall for blooms in the spring and summer. If you’re too busy to plant them, a Rotarian Power Planter can be hired to do it for you.
The annual Rotary bulb sale is a fundraiser which supports many community service projects, including playground equipment for Auke Bay and Riverbend Elementary schools, Day at the Lake, Glory Hole dinners, the After-School Coalition and the Youth Exchange Program.
Purchases can be made directly from a Juneau-Gastineau Rotarian or on the website rotarybulbs.com.
