All 2016 high school graduates are invited to Safe Graduation, a party where students can celebrate this milestone in their lives in a drug and alcohol free environment.
It starts at 10 p.m. and ends at 2:16 a.m. with no re-admittance allowed after 11 p.m. Seniors are allowed to bring one guest between the ages of 16 and 20; costs $10 for guests at the door; all participants must bring student or photo ID.
The theme is “Welcome to Paradise.” All seniors will receive a gift bag and there will be snacks galore – pizza, soft-serve ice cream, Pel Meni, spring rolls, popcorn and Italian sodas. Prize drawings are held every 15 minutes, with prizes such as cash, computers, headphones and paddleboards. There will be a card room with poker and black jack, a photo booth, dancing, sumo wrestling and Cash Cube.
There’ll be a grand prize drawing for $2,016, which will be drawn at 2:16 a.m., and graduates must be present to win.
