From all the children who will enjoy a new playground, we thank the Juneau Community Foundation’s Douglas-Dornan Fund for their support. The Sitka Playground Committee received a generous donation to rebuild a playground that will be accessible to children of all ages and abilities.
The Crescent Harbor Playground that we will be building in the Spring of 2017 will have a universal design that will encourage play, imagination, peer social interactions and childhood development. This playground will also be a sustainable, long lasting, vibrant community space tying into the rest of the waterfront.
