The ska/funk/rock band Smoking Bill of Seattle will be coming to town to perform on Aug. 5. There will be a free, family-friendly show for the public at the Block Party from 5:30-6:15 p.m., and then with DJ Annie B of KXLL from 6:15-7 p.m. at the APK plaza.
At 7:30 p.m., a dance party will start at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center, led by DJ Marty Weiner of KXLL, and then Smoking Bill will start at 8 p.m. At the dance party, there will be a no-host bar, so the event is 21+ unless accompanied by a legal guardian.
