The Southeast Alaska Food Bank Board of Directors and volunteers would like to thank Dawson Construction for its generous $500 donation. This donation will allow the Food Bank to continue working to provide help to families and individuals in Juneau who otherwise might not have easy access to food.
The Southeast Alaska Food Bank’s goal is to continue to make a difference in the quality of life for those who need help by providing food for such families in times of need. The kind donation from Dawson Construction will help the Food Bank continue to meet its goal, enabling the Food Bank to provide healthy and nutritious food for those in the Juneau community who need our assistance. The donation from Dawson Construction is sincerely appreciated.
Last year, through the efforts of our one employee and our dedicated volunteers, the Southeast Alaska Food Bank provided over 313,000 pounds of food to local food pantries, nonprofit organizations, and members of the community. With the recent expansion of our facility, we are now able to maintain much larger inventory of food, and we are now even better positioned to serve our community.
