Southeast Alaska Food Bank thanks those for support

On behalf of the Southeast Alaska Food Bank board of directors and our food bank manager, Darren Adams, we would like to thank the citizens of Juneau, local business, our 31 nonprofit member agencies, local service organizations, and especially our volunteers for all you did for us in 2016.

All of your donations of food, funds and countless volunteer hours have enabled us to provide healthy and nutricious food for our friends and neighbors who have neended some extra help this year. Because of this generosity, the food bank was able to provide over 286,000 pounds of food and milk to our community members who are most at risk of going hungry.

As 2016 comes to an end, we cannot thank everyone enough for everything you have done for us this year, and we wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

All of us at the southeast Alaska Food Bank look forward to serving our community again in 2017, and we would thank you for your continuing support.

Dennis Watson,

board chair of the Southeast Alaska Food Bank

Darren Adams,

food bank manager
