Thank you, First Bank

Bartlett Regional Hospital Foundation thanks First Bank for the generous $5,000 community development grant to continue the baby box program at Bartlett Beginnings. First Bank is an active supporter and participant in many Juneau community programs and a sponsor of baby boxes since 2015.

Bartlett Foundation will use the money to continue to fund the baby box program into 2017. The baby box program was established in January 2016. Every child born at Bartlett receives a baby box. Baby boxes are starter kits containing a first aid kit, educational materials, books, baby clothes and blankets. Most importantly, they provide a place for safe sleep for babies, helping reduce infant mortality rates as a result of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Support from community partners like First Bank allows the Bartlett Foundation to continue with its mission to provide resources to enhance and support quality health care for Bartlett Regional Hospital. This gift supports Juneau babies, one box at a time. For more information visit www.brhfoundation.org and https://www.firstbankak.com/.
