The Douglas Fourth of July Committee would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the 2017 Ghost Walk a success. Approximately 250 children and their families participated in the annual Ghost Walk this year.
It would not have been possible, however, without help from so many in the community. We’d like to particularly thank the following businesses, organizations and individuals: The Carpenter’s Union Local 1281 for providing us with newly built games; Costco, and Office Plus for their donations of candy and prizes; Dr. Gilbert for the donation of toothbrushes; Valley Paint for their donation of paint; Marti Bernardez, Heather Ridgway and the JDHS Art Club for their artwork; Sherri McDonald for making buttons; parents Tiffany Davis, Arnold Liebelt, Kim Hort, and Dana Gower for all their help putting on the event; the JDHS Hockey Team for hosting the event. We look forward to many years of fun to come. We hope to see you next year.
Thank you all for your participation and making another successful Ghost Walk.
Molly McCormick,
President, Douglas Fourth of July Committee
