REACH, Inc. would like to extend our very sincere thanks to everyone who made our Mardi Gras Cajun Fête a success. We are so grateful to the Knights of Columbus for sponsoring the event, their financial support, and for the use of St. Ann’s Parish Hall. Thanks to Miguel Rohrbacher for tending bar and covering many bases. Winston Smith deserves our gratitude for the great seafood we had. Teresa Kissel did her magic on the red beans and rice, which were amazing. A special thanks goes to Amos Kissel, who was the driving force behind the event and made all the pieces fall into place. Though we may have missed some names of the Knights, we thank each and every one.
We sincerely appreciate Alaskan Brewing for their generous donation to the dinner. Thanks, also, to Josh Fandel, who donated his time to help us with the beverage service and for keeping all the balls in the air. We’re grateful to Dani Byers, who rocked it with her freshly made King Cakes and beignets. We really appreciate Paul Spaulding of the 9th Street Café for his help and for having the good sense to marry such a talented baker. A special thanks to DJ Manu who found the time to get our music set up and playing before he dashed off to the high school to play their dance.
And, to everyone who bought a ticket and came to our Cajun feast, we thank you so very much! REACH is committed to creating communities free of barriers for people with disabilities. With your ongoing support, we will continue providing advocacy and services wherever we are needed.
Merci beaucoup à tous –
