Thank you for raising money at the Softball Benefit Tournament

In August this year more than 200 people came together for the 20th annual Coed Softball Benefit Tournament. The weather was great and the friendships were immense. We had great food, great softball and raised monies for our friend Kris Mercer. Mercer is in a battle with cancer. He and his wife Sandi came out and enjoyed some of the festivities. All in all, with this wonderful community support, we raised over $7,000.

Gary Diekman and I started the tournament 20 years ago and many people have carried it through today. I can’t say enough about our Juneau community and how we band together — Juneau people rock! Thank you again for coming out and supporting a great cause. Lisa Corcoran and I sincerely want to thank the businesses and people who made this awesome event possible.

Thank you Adersheim Lodge, Alaska Outdoor Wearhouse, Amy Keston, Asiana Convenience Store, Auto Plus, Night Moods Balloons, Bartlett Gift Store, Alaskan Brewing Company, Chrisanne Lesmann, DeHarts, El Sombrero, Freya Boutique, Ginny Martin, Gourmet Alaska, Grumpys Deli, Heritage Coffee, Hickock Trading, Juneau Softball Association, Latitude 58 Real Estate, Lisa and Brian Dallas, Lisa Davidson’s Boutique, NAPA Auto, Paul Thomas, Ron Gile Photography, Sheryl Weinberg, Sol Sun Tanning, Taku Tattoo, Thibedeau’s Liquor, Tracy Gilmour, Udder Culture, What a Foot, Alaska Fudge Company, Jack Tripp, Juneau Mercantile and Armory, Southeast Mining Supply, Tyler Rental, Bobcat of Juneau, the Grind Coffee Shop, Shannon Kelly, Lana Larson, Lee Larson, Laurie Larson, Renee Loree, Angela Lewis, Elaine Bell, Twyla Eyre, Devra Hayes, Beth McEwen, Colby Shibler, Dave Pusich, Myiia Wahto, Amanda Lovejoy, Shaun Guthrie, Kyle Scholl, Dave Hays, Beau Damian, Jason Hart, Lonnie Anderson, Bubba Larson, Tanya Larson, Everett and Dee Boster, Steve Lewis; and a big hug to Don Douglas, Mark Kappler, Gary and Diane Diekman, Tracy Balovich, Donna Staton, the entire Corcoran family and Mayor Ken Koelsch.
