Thank you, Juneau Education and Support Staff union

Thank you, Juneau Education and Support Staff union

Helping Hands volunteers would like to thank all the members of Juneau Education and Support Staff union for considering us and for the very successful food drive you had for us.

Just to let you know a little about Helping Hands. We are staffed with all volunteers who continuously pick up donated items at our local stores. Twice weekly we invite the public to our warehouse for distribution of these donated items. Over 600 people come through our doors every month. It is a resource to many individuals within our community who do not have the means to go the store and purchase necessary items for their families.

I would like to thank the Classified, Certified, Administration, and Food service staff members of the Juneau School District which consist of Maintenance, Custodian, Para Ed., Secretaries, Teachers, Librarians, Central Office, IT, and Food Service Staff members at all the elementary, middle, and high schools for a job well done in the food drive that was done for Helping Hands. If I left anyone out please accept my apology.

We appreciate all the help and hard work you put into this food drive. It was a wonderful idea that you choose to give the food to Helping Hands. Your overwhelming generosity is greatly appreciated by all of us at Helping Hands.

We hope that you will consider Helping Hands as your recipient next year.

Betty Kaplor,

Director of Helping Hands
