On November 17, the Southeast Alaska Food Bank conducted the largest food drive in its history.

Super Bear IGA and Foodland IGA, along with the Juneau Radio Center, hosted the annual Caring is Sharing food drive, in which 27,449 pounds of food was donated to benefit the Food Bank.

Coordinating an event of this magnitude was no small feat and we’d like to thank everyone involved.

A special thanks the employees at both IGA locations for hosting this magnificent event.

Thanks to the volunteers who worked all day to solicit donations, sort donations, and load them into the First Student school buses.
