Christian musical group This Hope will perform a Christmas Concert at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8 at Centennial Hall. No tickets are required for admittance as an offering will be taken during the show to help cover the costs of the concert. All are welcome.
The five-man group — Tim Inabnit, Jeane Bope, Mikah Boudreaux, Daniel Johnston, David Inabnit and LJ Rysdyk — first got together in Soldotna, where many of the members grew up in the same church. They are also untied by family ties; Tim and David are brothers, and David and Daniel are related by marriage, as are Daniel and Jeane. The group performed at local churches for years before taking their music on the road, eventually ending up in Atlanta, where they now live.
The popularity of a previous Juneau show about three years ago spurred organizers to book the entire hall for Tuesday’s performance.
