SITKA — The brown bear registration hunt RB077 in Unit 4 (Admiralty, Baranof and Chichagof Island) will end Dec. 31.
Successful hunters must submit hunt reports within 10 days of the date of kill and have the bear sealed within 30 days.
Unsuccessful hunters and hunters who registered but did not hunt must return completed hunt reports to the Fish and Game office in Sitka by close of business Jan. 16, 2017, or report online at www.hunt.alaska.gov. All hunters who received permits must submit reports, even if they did not hunt.
