After the Veteran’s Day Service at Centennial Hall on Nov. 11, a young lady approached and handed me a thank you card. It was handmade by a student at Dzantik’I Heeni Middle School — lovely decoration on the front and heartfelt art and message inside.
It is wonderful to contemplate that people so young have some idea of the sacrifices of veterans, perhaps many years ago as well as recent, during their young lives.
