Collaborative Zentangle class, Tuesday, May 22, 6-8 p.m., Color Wheel. An evening of collaboration, conversation and doodling while sipping beer or wine. Create images from repetitive patterns through the relaxing art of Zentangle. Sherri McDonald will teach how to start your own Zentangle, then you’ll pass it to your neighbor to add a bit of tangle. $40.

“Steven Hawking’s Science,” Tuesday, May 22, 7 p.m., Marie Drake Planetarium. Free, for all ages. The Marie Drake Planetarium presents ‘Stephen Hawking’s Science.” The talk will cover the physicist’s greatest contributions to science and why he did not win the Nobel prize.
