Five poets will perform in Woosh Kinaadeiyí’s third annual summer showcase fundraiser, all accompanied by musician Jacob Pickard.
The poets are Christy NaMee Eriksen, Ryan Carrillo, Mike Christenson, Ziggy Unzicker, and Dee Jay DeRego. Conor Lendrum and Theo Houck will host the event.
The summer showcase begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 25 at The Rockwell Ballroom.
Proceeds from the event benefit Woosh Kinaadeiyí, a nonprofit organization committed to diversity, inclusive community, and empowering voice. Woosh Kinaadeiyí organizes free to low cost monthly events for the community, including open mics, poetry slams, and spoken word workshops.
