Woosh Kinaadeiyí will host a spoken word workshop on Sunday, Jan. 17 from 1-4 pm at Kindred Post, located at 145 South Franklin in Juneau.
The workshop, taught by spoken word artists Christy NaMee Eriksen and Dee Jay DeRego, is the first of three educational opportunities put on by the organization this year. Eriksen and DeRego will guide participants through writing exercises, speaking/performance exercises, revision, and feedback in a supportive, inclusive environment. The workshop is open to all ages and all abilities. Anyone interested in creative writing or performance is encouraged to join; no experience necessary.
