The Alaskan AIDS Assistance Association will host a World AIDS Day event on Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 6-7 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity sanctuary. The event will feature a performance by the PFLAG Juneau Pride Chorus, anecdotes from volunteering with an orphanage in Kenya and a look at the work of Four A’s over its 30 years serving Alaska.
The event serves as an opportunity to remember those lost, show support for those who are HIV-positive and to share in hope. There will be light refreshments and the event is free and open to the public.
