SOLDOTNA — The bodies of two people have been recovered from a home that burned on the Kenai Peninsula.
Alaska State Troopers shortly after 2:15 a.m. Tuesday took a call of a fire at a mobile home off Funny River Road in Soldotna.
The fire was suppressed and Central Emergency Services found the bodies inside.
No names have been released.
Troopers said the state medical examiner will conduct an autopsy and attempt to make positive identification.
The state fire marshal’s office is investigating the fire.
