ANCHORAGE — Authorities say two people have been injured following a shooting at a party in Anchorage.
Police spokeswoman Renee Oistad said in a statement that a 16-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the leg at the party Sunday morning. An 18-year-old woman was reportedly shot in the chest by a BB gun. Both the woman and the juvenile suffered injuries that were not life threatening.
Oistad says police had responded to the party and found several vehicles riddled with bullet holes. Witnesses reported that there was an altercation and at least two people opened fire outside.
No arrests have been made.
Police are encouraging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
