FAIRBANKS — Two teenagers including a 15-year-old were arrested on suspicion of robbery after a pursuit Tuesday night from Fairbanks to North Pole.
Alaska State Troopers say 19 year-old Brandon Laszloffy and the 15-year-old driver were arrested after North Pole police used a tire deflation device to stop their vehicle.
Troopers just before midnight took a call of a robbery at Chena Pump Plaza west of Fairbanks.
Responding officers spotted a vehicle leaving the area with an equipment violation. The driver stopped for troopers but then drove toward North Pole.
The tire deflation device stopped the vehicle on the Richardson Highway near Fifth Avenue in North Pole.
Laszloffy also faces charges of failing to stop for a police officer, criminal mischief and violating probation. The 15-year-old was taken to Fairbanks Youth Facility.
