Juneau police are asking the public for help tracking down the thief or thieves behind a burglary in the Lemon Creek area back in March.
Police said an employee of Skookum Sales and Recycling Center, 1725 Anka Street, reported six tools, valued in total at approximately $2,650, missing from an equipment shed on April 2. They are believed to have been taken in the early hours of March 30, Juneau Police Department spokesperson Erann Kalwara said.
The incident is this week’s JPD and Juneau Crime Line’s “Crime of the Week.”
Kalwara said police have leads to go on, but she declined to elaborate, citing the ongoing investigation.
The following items were reported missing from recycling center:
• Two STIHL cutoff saws, valued at $1,000 each,
• Two Bosch tech electrical impact guns, valued at $200,
• One DEWALT job site radio, valued at $150, and
• One Ingersoll Rand impact gun, valued at $300.
