KETCHIKAN, Alaska (AP) — Alaska State Troopers say a 6-year-old boy was responsible for a weekend fire that burned a garage in Ketchikan.
The North Tongass Fire Department responded to the fire Saturday afternoon in a detached and unoccupied garage.
No one was injured but damage was estimated at $15,000.
The child was released to his guardian.
Troopers say the state fire marshal, juvenile probation office and the Office of Children’s Services were notified of the incident.
