ANCHORAGE — A federal spokesman says an airplane is missing on a flight from Anchorage to the Kenai Peninsula.
Clint Johnson of the National Transportation Safety Board in Alaska tells Anchorage television station KTVA that the airplane took off Sunday from Lake Hood.
The airplane’s destination was the Kenai and Soldotna area.
The airplane failed to arrive as scheduled.
The Alaska Rescue Coordination Center was leading a search Sunday night.
