Anchorage police investigate fatal shooting, body in street

ANCHORAGE — Anchorage police are investigating the death of a person shot and killed early Friday morning on the city’s east side.

Dispatchers just after 3 a.m. received multiple calls of shots at Duben Avenue and Bolin Street about two blocks north of Muldoon Elementary School.

Responding officers found a dead person in the street. They describe the person as male but have not released an approximate age.

No suspect is in custody.

Police have not released the victim’s name and say he has not been identified positively.
