ANCHORAGE — Anchorage police are looking for four robbery suspects who accosted a couple early Monday morning on the west side of the city.
Police say the suspects were driving a gray Chevy Monte Carlo with the personalized license “KDAWG.”
A woman told police she and her boyfriend just before 1 a.m. were walking on west 36th Avenue when a car pulled up and four men got out.
She says the men demanded the couple’s backpacks and fired a shot. The woman and man were not injured.
The woman says the men got back into the car and drove north on Spenard Road.
The woman described the suspects as African-American men in their 20s. Police are asking the public’s help in finding the car.
