ANCHORAGE — Anchorage police are looking for a driver who rammed cars after U.S. marshals attempted to question him.
Marshals spokesman Dave Long said his agency Wednesday was looking for a man who had violated supervised release.
They located the man riding in a vehicle and took him into custody at around 1:30 p.m.
Long said marshals attempted to contact the driver but he became aggressive, rammed cars and took off.
Anchorage police and marshals continued to seek the man late Thursday afternoon.
Students at Anchorage East High School and nearby elementary schools were placed in “stay put” mode while officers searched for the suspect.
