The University of Alaska Southeast has extended an open invitation to its annual fall Counselor/Educator Conference on Sept. 19-20, which is free for all participants. The theme this year is connecting K-12 and postsecondary education students to the workplace.
At the conference, there will be an ACT Educator Workshop because the Alaska ACT State Organization Committee meeting will coincide with the event. There will be conversations with ACT national representatives, state council members and business and industry leaders in the community.
This is an all-day conference, starting at 8 a.m. and concluding at 5:15 p.m., on Monday, and then will run from 8 a.m. till the early afternoon on Tuesday. Arrive at 8 a.m. on Monday to register and enjoy a continental breakfast in the UAS Glacier View Room, Egan 221.
