Juneau Skating Club 11th annual Basic Skills Competition, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Treadwell Ice Arena. Figure skaters and skaters will compete in a variety of ice skating disciplines, including elements, freestyle, interpretive and other events. Skaters will have the opportunity to demonstrate both skating skill and artistic expression. There will also be an exhibition by higher-level skaters. Admission is free.
