BETHEL — Authorities have arrested seven people following a drug bust that resulted in an estimated $300,000 worth of heroin and crack cocaine being seized from a Bethel home.
The Thursday raid was the result of an ongoing investigation by the Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit and Bethel police.
The Department of Public Safety reported that officers had posed as buyers and purchased drugs from the suspects as part of the undercover investigation.
Authorities said they recovered more than 47 grams of heroin, more than half a pound of crack cocaine and $64,000 in cash from the Bethel home.
Those arrested include four men and one woman from Bethel, one man from nearby Quinhagak and two California men.
They all face various charges, including conspiracy and controlled substance misconduct.
