FAIRBANKS — Autopsies have confirmed that four people died of gunshot wounds last week at a Fairbanks hotel.
Fairbanks police said the results support the theory of three murders and a suicide in the deaths of 54-year-old Linda Hutton, 22-year-old Emily McDonald, 8-week-old Teagan Hutton and 22-year-old McKay Hutton.
Police said preliminary evidence pointed to McKay Hutton as the shooter in the deaths of his mother, wife and infant child.
Their bodies were found Friday in a room at the Hampton Inn.
Fairbanks detectives continue to seek information that would indicate a motive for the shootings.
