The three candidates for the Board of Education election this fall will face off in the Chamber of Commerce’s candidate forum this week.
The forum, which will take place during the Chamber of Commerce’s weekly luncheon, will feature incumbent Brian Holst and challengers Kevin Allen and Jeff Short. The three candidates are vying for two seats in the Oct. 3 election.
At last week’s League of Women Voters forum, the three candidates spoke at length about budget challenges facing the school district, the importance of early education, declining enrollment and more.

The Chamber hosted its annual forum for Assembly candidates last week, and the seven candidates spoke to a packed house for about 45 minutes.
