A church in Auke Bay was burglarized this week, Juneau police said.
Chapel by the Lake reported that someone broke in and stole a $200 digital camera, a charging cord for a cellphone and $50 worth of candles, Juneau Police Department spokeswoman Erann Kalwara said.
Kalwara said police found pry marks on a window, and a broken window at the scene, 11024 Auke Lake Way.
Someone who works at the chapel reported the incident to JPD at 9:57 a.m. Thursday, Kalwara confirmed.
The church is a picturesque Presbyterian church situated next to Auke Lake near the University of Alaska Southeast.
