The Juneau Police Department highlighted the burglary of a business for its Crime Line “Crime of the Week.”
JPD said it received a report of burglary and theft of property from a business in the 3000 block of North Douglas Highway at 2:15 p.m. Sept. 25. JPD did not name the business in the release, and did not respond to a request for the business name.
The report was that the suspect or suspects forced entry into the business and stole firearms, jewelry — including “unique valuable watches” — cash and other items.
Anyone with information about the crime is encouraged to call JPD at 586-0600. Tips can also be submitted via the Juneau Crime line website at juneaucrimeline.com. Tipsters are guaranteed anonymity and can be eligible for a reward.
