City and Borough of Juneau Assembly members will be headed to the University of Alaska Southeast campus Monday to hear about the proposed changes to the university system in light of budget cuts.
Assembly members will hear UA President Jim Johnsen talk about the Strategic Pathways program to create a single statewide college of education to be led by one dean and housed at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Juneau’s legislative delegation was also invited to attend the meeting, which is taking place at noon Monday in the Auke Lake campus’ Glacier View Room. The meeting is being hosted by the UAS Campus Council.
