Success on the fairway could lead to a free trip to the runway at the third annual Juneau Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic.
Anyone registered for the event, which is set for June 10 at the Mendenhall Glacier Golf Course, is entered to win two round-trip tickets to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies. The outing is a best-ball scramble, and interested golfers can enter for $75 per person or $300 per team. Admission is limited.
The outing runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and even those who don’t win the Alaska Airlines tickets still have plenty opportunities to leave with a prize. There are prizes on every hole, including a challenge on the 10th hole that can result in 100,000 Alaska Airline miles.
Check-in for the tournament is at the Willie’s Marine Event Tent, which features miniature golf, food and beer. Those interested in registering for the event can head to JuneauChamber.com.
