Two energy authorities will be speaking at today’s Juneau Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
Robert Venables, energy and transportation coordinator for Southeast Conference, and Shaina Kilcone, energy efficiency director for the Renewable Energy Alaska Project, will be speaking during this week’s presentation titled “Southeast Conference Energy and Transportation Highlights.”
Veneables serves on the state’s Marine Transportation Advisory Board,, and he manages the Southeast Conference Alaska Marine Highway Reform Project.
In her current role, Kilcoyne acts as an advocate of clean-energy efforts with businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.
Venables and Kilcoyne will begin speaking at noon. Doors for the event open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets cost $20 for chamber members and $25 for nonmembers.
