Andrew Bogar, Disaster Program Specialist at the American Red Cross of Alaska, will speak Saturday at the Juneau-Douglas City Museum as part of the museum’s regular Coffee and Collections program.
The program runs 10:30 a.m. to noon at the museum, and Bogar will moderate a panel discussion covering who does what in a disaster affecting Juneau.
After the discussion from 3-4 p.m. the museum will host the Red Cross Pillowcase Project for kids. Kids will learn about disaster preparedness and receive a free pillowcase with which to construct an emergency kit.
