Two Juneau organizations will host a panel discussion about renewable heating alternatives next week.
The event — sponsored by the city’s Commission on Sustainability and the Juneau Economic Development Council — will take place in the Assembly Chambers in City Hall on Nov. 29 at 5:30 p.m., according to a city press release.
“This forum offers an opportunity to learn about how large and small scale ground and air source heat pumps and wood pellet systems can be a money saving, renewable energy alternative to existing heating systems,” the release reads.
This event is the latest in a series of city-sponsored energy forums, all of which relate to topics contained in Juneau’s draft Energy Plan.
