The Juneau Police Department is asking local businesses not to accept credit card payment from a 23-year-old man who is alleged to have stolen at least two bank credit/debit cards.
William “Billy” Moy Jr. is believed to have used or attempted to use the stolen cards at about 10 Juneau businesses since Nov. 1, police say.
“One of the cards is believed to have been stolen from a vehicle,” JPD Lt. Kris Sell said in an information release Monday. “Moy Jr. is also a person of interest in an attempted burglary of a storage unit last night in the 8600 block of Airport Boulevard.”
Police said Moy has several warrants out for his arrest, including two $50 warrants for failing to appear in court on criminal trespass charges, one for failing to appear on a larceny charge and another in a separate larceny case.
JPD released Moy’s photo to the public and asked anyone who sees him to call JPD at 586-0600.
