‘Crime of the Week’ is Thane Road boat theft

The Juneau Crime Line and Juneau Police Department are seeking the public’s help in catching the suspects in a Thane Road robbery, selecting the case as the “Crime of the Week.”

On May 11, JPD responded to the report of the theft of property from the 5700 block of Thane Road, Lt. Scott Erickson said in a press release. The property stolen was an 8-foot Zodiac boat, crab pots, and other crab fishing accessories with an estimated value of more than $1,900.

Anyone with information is encouraged to log onto the Juneau Crime Line website at juneaucrimeline.com and report the tip, or to call JPD at 586-0600. Tipsters are guaranteed anonymity and may be eligible for a reward.

Crime Line is a nonprofit organization designed to aid police agencies in their investigations.
