It’s never too late to find the right career, and The Learning Center is hoping to help adults find their best fit.
The College and Career Awareness Fair runs from Nov. 13-17, which involves a visit to the University of Alaska Southeast, meet with a representative of the U.S. Coast Guard and visit private businesses around town. The deadline to sign up for this free event is quickly approaching, as applications must be in by 4:30 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 3.
To apply, head to serrc.org/tlc or visit TLC at 210 Ferry Way in downtown Juneau.
The event is part of the MATCH Program, which is for adults who have completed high school or withdrawn from school and are still looking for the right career. TLC staff work with members of the program to find a career path and pursue education and training. TLC is a program of SERRC, Alaska’s Educational Resource Center.
