Thursday was Flag Day, and the results of Douglas Island’s best decorated houses, apartments and businesses are in.
Douglas firefighters on Thursday judged the annual contest, where the Douglas Fourth of July Committee asks Douglas residents to decorate residences, businesses and buildings with flags, flowers and patriotic colors ahead of the Fourth of July.
