Juneau residents interested in learning about how Social Security disability benefits work can attend a free course this week at the Juneau Job Center, 10002 Glacier Highway.
Two sessions of the two-hour course are available. The first takes place at 9 a.m. Wednesday. The second is at 9 a.m. Thursday.
The course is hosted by the University of Alaska Anchorage Center for Human Development and will address how the wages you earn can impact your Social Security benefits.
