The Friends of the Juneau-Douglas City Museum will host its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Hangar Ballroom.
The organization is the official support group for the city-owned museum, whose mission is to promote and preserve Juneau-Douglas history.
Sitka author John Straley will be the keynote speaker of the annual meeting. Straley will present an address entitled “The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but a Story: The Art of Writing Historical Fiction.”
Admission to the meeting is free for city museum members and $5 for all others.
