ANCHORAGE — A garbage truck drove into an Anchorage business Monday, and falling debris injured an employee and a customer inside.
Anchorage police said in a release that no major injuries were reported after the Alaska Waste truck struck the Alaska Check Cashing location near downtown Anchorage.
Anchorage Fire Department personnel reinforced the building so the truck could be removed. There were multiple lane closures on 5th Avenue through most of the day until the scene was cleared.
