The commissioner of the Alaska Department of Revenue will speak about the governor’s fiscal plan at the Juneau Chamber of Commerce’s weekly luncheon Thursday.
Randy Hoffbeck has served as revenue commissioner since December 2014, when Gov. Bill Walker appointed him to the position. Before working for the Department of Revenue, Hoffbeck served as CFO and as the director of administration and finance for the North Slope Borough.
Thursday’s luncheon will take place in the ballroom at the Hangar on the Wharf. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., and the program will begin at noon. The event costs $20 for chamber members and $25 for non-members.
