ANCHORAGE — An Anchorage grand jury has indicted a 29-year-old Eagle River man on charges of first-degree murder and felony weapons misconduct.
State prosecutors said Jarre Lee was indicted Wednesday in the shooting death of 19-year-old Preston Perdomon on Aug. 3 in an east Anchorage neighborhood.
Witnesses that night heard shots and found Perdomon in his car. He died at the scene.
Lewis was arrested Thursday morning.
He’s being held on $1 million bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
Anchorage police say there likely are people in the neighborhood with information about Perdomon’s death and they would like witnesses to call them.
